Home of Eufaula Head Hunters. We are a TBF and B.A.S.S. affiliated buddy fishing club located in Eufaula Alabama. 2008 is the first season for this club and we are looking forward to an exciting first year. 7/16/2008 - Meeting Notes.
Just wanted to update some changes made at last nights meeting. The August tournament date has been changed to the 16th and moved to Franklin Landing. Also, we talked about the culling of dead fish. While we do not have any rules against it the State of Alabama does (see link below). Therefore, if you want to cull a dead fish you need to put it on ice and not throw it back. Everyone needs to understand that we will not weigh in iced fish therefore once the fish goes on ice it cannot be part of your limit.

7/10/2008 - July Meeting.
Hello Everyone, Our next club meeting is coming up this Monday the 14th. We will have a few things to go over and a few items up for vote so everyone that can attend needs to. Also, any members that want to turn in or get more tickets please do so at this meeting. I have to turn them into the state after our August meeting so we still have some time. Everyone needs to keep in mind that we keep $1.00 for every ticket we sell so please sell all you can. I look forward to seeing everyone this coming Monday.

7/10/2008 - Tournament Results.
The tournament results for the June tournament on Lake Mitchell are here and the updated standings are here. Congratulations to team Buchanan & Buchanan on taking first place for the 3rd time in a row with 8.37 lbs, team Cochran & Kent finished 2nd with 8.17 lbs and team Noakes & Pair finished 3rd with 7.05 lbs. Big fish went to Buchanan & Buchanan at 2.45 lbs. Thanks to all those that came out and fished. The big ones were hard to come by but everyone caught fish and even though we didn't bring our spotlights there were almost no serious accidents at takeoff! ;-)

5/28/2008 - Regulation 2008-MP-1, 220-6-.60
A new restriction has been put in place that says you can't drive your boat over idle speed even if there isn't a "no wake" sign. Read more about it here and tell us what you think.

5/19/2008 - May Results.
Here are the complete results for the May tournament. Congratulations to team Buchanan & Buchanan for taking 1st place with 16.37 lbs and big fish weighing 6.56 lbs. 2nd place went to team Greene & Smith with 11.05 lbs and 3rd went to tema Cochran & Kent who had 9.36 lbs. 5/16/2008 - Saturday Tournament.
Please have your boats on the water no later that 5:00 AM Saturday morning. Noakes and Pair will be at the ramp to take up money by 4:45 AM. We will blast off at safe-light. Good luck to all our teams!

5/06/2008 - Eufaula Headhunters Win TBF Qualifier! 

 The Eufaula Headhunters 6 man team (which was really a five man team) won the TBF qualifier held on Lake Eufaula this past weekend. Good job guys! From the TBF website:

"Joe Buchanan, Kevin (Skip) Jackson, David J. Pair, Don Reeves and Jimmy Williams of The Eufaula Head Hunters claimed the top team honors with a cumulative weight of 38.34 pounds."

4/21/2008 - April Results.
The results for the April tournament are here and the updated standings are here. Congratulations to team Buchanan & Buchanan on their first place finish with 14.34lbs, team Cochran & Kent with 9.65lbs and team Noakes & Pair with 7.75lbs. It seems like the fishing slowed down a little this past weekend but keep your eyes out for those 20lb bags because we probably haven't seen the last of them this year. Also, be sure and check back to see the pictures from the tounament. Hopefully we will have them posted soon.

4/14/2008 - Meeting Tonight.
Hello Everyone,
Our next club meeting is coming up this Monday the 14th. We have a couple of items to address but the meeting should not last all that long. If anyone is interested in fishing the TBF qualifier here in May please get with me after the meeting. Finally, congratulations to Heath & Randy for their win at LakeJordan. I believe this was our first tournament that everyone brought fish to the scales. Maybe if we add a tournament to our schedule we can visit this lake again.

4/1/2008 - News
We would like to thank our newest sponsor, Cabelas who donated several outdoors products for us to give away at the meetings. Also the Jordan pictures are finally posted. Some of them were taken with a regular 35mm camera so we will probably never see those but here are the ones Regina took with the digital camera.

3/17/2008 - Lake Jordan results.

3/09/2008 - Meeting Tomorrow.
The pre-tournament meeting for Lake Jordan will be at the Creek Restaurant at 7:00 P.M. We will be giving away a dinner for 2 at El Placaio Mexican Restaurant in Ozark AL and appetizers from Longhorn Steak House in Dothan AL.

Rumor has it that there have been several 20lb sacks weighed in at Jordan lately so be ready to catch some big Coosa Spots. At the weigh-in the winners of the first drawing will receive a gift card from Sportsman Outfitter of Dothan AL and a sample pack of Big Bite Baits and the team that wins the second drawing will receive a gift card for $25 to Wal-Mart.
